Another old drawing I re-did with watercolors. I am taking a break from pastels and doing more with watercolors. I have used watercolors to do under paintings for pastels, and decided to learn more about them.

I originally drew this in 1975 in pencil. Looking through old drawings I saw this and decided to do it in watercolor.
The Navion first came out in the 40’s, a P-51 styled 4 seat airplane for the consumer. This drawing is of the 60’s reissue.

We were roaming around French Town, N.J. and I fell in love with this old brick building, now all retail space.
A Confederate Air Force B-25 myself, son, and two grandsons flew on. Lot’s of fun.

Heceta Head Lighthouse
A beautiful lighthouse about 20 miles north of me. A different view.
I have started drawing the gnarled old pine trees around us. I decided to try one in vine charcoal. It is fast, fun and I like it!
